I’m from Brazil and ever since I came to the US I’ve been to fancy spas, top rated waxers, everything you can imagine. Most places are too worried about being fancy and end up doing a horrible job. One lady bruised me, the other waxed me on a chair! And then I found Tamara! At HW they make sure you are comfortable and relaxed, and they do it all for you (no hold here, pull there). Tamara has her own tricks and techniques that make it pain free and it lasts! Only one way to describe it: PERFECT!
Switched to Creative Colours Salon about 4 months ago and I LOVE it. Shirley has been doing my hair and she is excellent. She actually listens to what you want, make suggestions on what she thinks would look good and does it. Everyone is very friendly and the salon is super cute!

Being a Holistic healer myself with much experience in the field I can tell you Tamara’s expertise is above and beyond what you will find! Turning a usually dreaded wax into an uplifting, enlightening, and much less painful experience is truly worth going to Healing Wizdom!

My experience at Healing Wizdom was great. I had the brazillian wax and it was simple and made painless. I couldn’t believe I didn’t try this place before.
The staff is very friendly and skilled. The job they did on my hair color might be the best I’ve ever had done. The dyes are rich in color, look natural, and don’t fade for a long time. I was very happy with the final product. I paid about $135 ($5 + or -) for a haircut and color. When I sat in the chair, the hairstylist had lots of ideas about which colors to add, how to add them, etc. I knew this would add to the price (I was embarrassed to ask), but I was a little shocked at how expensive it was in the end. I guess my best advice is, if you’re on a budget, have some chutzpah and ask how much these great ideas will cost so you won’t be surprised in the end!
I have been working with Leslie for the past several months. She is amazing and gifted with her healing abilities. I really needed someone who could pull old energies and stress out of my body with their hands through touch and massage. Through regularly scheduled massages, together, Leslie and I have released and let go old wounds, hurts, stress, even stuff I did not know I was still carrying around. When I first came to see Leslie, I was very scared and extremely tense with emotions. Now I am calm, balanced and walk lightly. Thank you Leslie!
