I love Healing Wizdom! Everytime I go to Reno, I make it a point to make an appt. I've had massages,a facial and a wax there, and all have been excellent. I would highly recommend them.

Tamara is a great stylist who is skilled in dry cut texturizing technique —I have tense, coarse hair with movement and I finally found someone who knows how to cut my hair
I recently had one of the best massages here with Matthew. Healing Wizdom has always had 'good energy' and been a pleasant experience, but this massage was perfect as my tight areas were focused on and some stretches were explained to help me keep loose. It was great and so I booked my next session in July (which I never do b/c I like having flexibility with my schedule) and that next massage was just as informative and stress reducing . Matthew is a natural healer and I would recommend him to anyone looking to deeply relax and stretch out the body! Thank you Healing Wizdom!
I am new to the area and read about Healing Wizdom on Yelp. I went for a brazilian wax. I was made to feel so comfortable and relaxed before we started. The was itself was nearly pain free. I was very pleased with their service. I will definitely be returning. Mic G.
I have been going to Healing Wizdom for waxing services for a year now and I am still positive that it is one of the greatest in customer care and service. I love the tea at the end of every appointment as well as the decorated rooms. It makes the experience calm and relaxing. After trying two other waxing services this is the one that stuck out. I guess third times a charm. This is definitely the place to go for waxing. Don't hesitate.
So, I've been looking to get my eyebrows redone for a while now but wanted the right place because the last time I got my eyebrows waxed, it was a major fiasco. I found Healing Wizdom through online reviews that gave them a very good review all around. So I called up and set an appointment. I got in almost immediately and was a little nervous, the atmosphere and friendly staff extinguished these fears right off the bat. I came in looking for a simple eyebrow waxing and got so much more. Definitely worth it! And the tea I got afterward was delicious, and I'm really picky about my tea! A wonderful experience; I'll be coming back for all my beauty needs from now on!!
I would highly recommend Healing Wizdom and Kindra to anyone looking for a great experience with waxing. If it is your first time do not bother going anywhere else…Kindra made my experience with the Brazilian Wax a great one. She was professional, calming and was able to help with questions I had. She made me feel so comfortable and the calming lotion that is used afterwards topped the whole experience. From the front desk, the staff, the calming wax, the prices and the great cup of tea at the end I would recommend Healing Wizdom to all my friends. I received Spa Finder gift certificates from my daughter and Healing Wizdom was on the list of participating spas. After checking the website and seeing all of the services they offer I booked an appt for a facial and eyelash tint with Brynn. What a lovely experience it turned out to be. The facial was very relaxing but the big bonus was the eyelash tinting. I have a lot of allergies plus glaucoma and I struggle with mascara. The process was guick and easy and I love the results! I no longer have to worry about mascara running into my eyes. It's 2 wks now with zero problems. As a bonus to all of the above, it turns out that Tamara and her mother, Mary Marshall, were a big part of my past with my daugher and we had a lot of fun catching up on the past 30 years! I will be returning soon!
